Peace Regional Waste Management Company (PRWMC) provides efficient and cost-effective waste management services to residents and businesses throughout the region. The Company operates waste transfer sites at Cadotte Lake, Little Buffalo, Marie Reine, Nampa, Harmon Valley and Reno. PRWMC also operates a major waste collection facility located approximately 7 kilometers northeast of the community of St. Isidore.
Regardless of the origins of the residential, commercial and industrial waste, or who your service provider is, all waste materials are trucked to our central facility northeast of St. Isidore. Facilities are open seven days a week to accept your material; please check operational hours for your respective delivery point.
Regrettably, the trail of plastic bags and food wrappers sailing off the back of un-tarped trucks destined for the PRWMC landfill or any one of our transfer sites, can be a major contributor of the garbage littering our roadways and communities.
We need all PRWMC customers to help – do your part and keep our communities and connecting highways litter free. Please tarp your loads to ensure safe and complete delivery to your community transfer site or the landfill facility itself.
PRWMC staff will monitor customer deliveries to ensure tarpaulins are utilized and secured at all four corners so that all waste materials are covered with no materials exposed over the sides.
Residents, customers and commercial issuers can obtain a copy of PRWMC Load Tarping Policy 001/02 that specifies a $500.00 penalty for all loads not properly tarped. Further, the Government of Alberta also regulates littering on public lands and highways with significant penalties.
